Just spent three days at the UMC annual Iowa Conference at the Rec Plex in west Des Moines. It was filled with jokes, music, laughter, voting, and business. Although the building was "freezing," the company was great! I learned so much about John Wesley and the UMC. Learned new songs too! Most of them are ironically in one of our hymn books called the "faith we sing." If you or anyone you know is looking to move into a career of lay ministry, feel free to talk to me. I am also available for counseling, marriages, baptism's, funerals, and weddings starting July 1st, 2025. My licensure will be effective on that day.
