Hi everyone, new to this page! Please email me or leave a message when you get a chance at weeksteri13@gmail.com! I'd like to hear from you!
Happy New Year to all visiting this page! Because of the winter cold, we have postponed Bible Study for a month or so until the weather is better for those who struggle going into and out of the church. Please send prayers to David Burrier who is struggling at this time with some health issues. Because of this, he will no longer be available to fill in for us when Pastor Teri and her husband Jerry are gone.
We ask for prayers for the City of Mitchellville who is struggling with finding police officers at this time. If you are interested and qualify, apply at the City of Mitchellville.
Hope everyone is staying warm this winter, had a great Christmas, and a Happy New Year!
If you're looking for a church, ours is welcoming and open! We invite all people no matter what their sexual orientation is, race, socio-economic status, etc. All are welcome in God's house! God is not picky and does not choose certain individuals to love him! All are welcome in God's eyes and ours!
Come be a member of our small but mighty congregation!

UMC Matters
As a United Methodist Church, we are connected to a larger network of churches and organizations. Here, we discuss UMC matters that affect our congregation and share insights into the broader mission and values of the United Methodist Church.

Pastor's Perspective
I believe in the triune God, God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I believe we are saved when we believe that Jesus Christ died, rose from the dead, and ascended into Heaven. I believe that God has a plan for each and every one of you, that he loves you no matter what you have done wrong in the past. Now is the present and it is time to turn to God. Turn your will and your life over to the care of God as you understand him! You will be better for it! Read the Bible as well. It is a book for guiding us to love one another, pray for our enemies, and turn the other cheek. It's easier said than done though, I know, I've been there. There is a life after death and that is due to the grace of God. Pray. Ask God to help you with your problems today and everyday. Pray for our world, the United States, Israel, Gaza, Ukraine! Pray constantly so that Christ will return to change our world upside down and for the better! Pray until you have no more energy to do so. (Pastor Teri 1-08-26
