Hi everyone, new to this page! Please email me or leave a message when you get a chance at weeksteri13@gmail.com! I'd like to hear from you!

Well, Easter has come and gone but the Lord is risen and will come again! I ask for ongoing prayers for the city of MItchellville who is struggling right now with leadership, community, disagreements, and more. We pray for individuals struggling with city problems and our police department. This brings me to note that several people are not stopping at the local stop signs. This can cause accidents which could lead to death. I pray for all the people in town and those that visit to please follow traffic laws!

Welcome to those first visiting our page! We are an open, Christian, Methodist church. We welcome ALL PEOPLE to join our small group of worshippers on Sundays at 10:30am. Although we are small, we have a welcoming group of people and know how to have fun! Our Beef Burger sale two weeks ago went well!

We also have a legion breakfast in town the first Saturday of every month which is excellent! If you like pancakes and sausage, come on down!

Blessings to all who visit this page and again, we welcome you to join us in service and fellowship!

Blessings and prayers,

Pastor Teri

UMC Matters

As a United Methodist Church, we are connected to a larger network of churches and organizations. Here, we discuss UMC matters that affect our congregation and share insights into the broader mission and values of the United Methodist Church.

Pastor's Perspective

I believe in the triune God, God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I believe we are saved when we believe that Jesus Christ died, rose from the dead, and ascended into Heaven. I believe that God has a plan for each and every one of you, that he loves you no matter what you have done wrong in the past. Now is the present and it is time to turn to God. Turn your will and your life over to the care of God as you understand him! You will be better for it! Read the Bible as well. It is a book for guiding us to love one another, pray for our enemies, and turn the other cheek. It's easier said than done though, I know, I've been there. There is a life after death and that is due to the grace of God. Pray. Ask God to help you with your problems today and everyday. Pray for our world, the United States, Israel, Gaza, Ukraine! Pray for the new war going on in Iran. Pray constantly so that Christ will return to change our world upside down and for the better! Pray until you have no more energy to do so. (Pastor Teri 4-7-26
